Scripture:
John 14:16
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.”
Many believers live spiritually like poor people even though they possess unimaginable riches in Christ. Jesus promised that His followers would not face life alone but would receive the Holy Spirit as their helper and comforter. Through the Spirit we have access to the resources of heaven itself. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now dwells within every believer.
Yet we often live as though we must fight every spiritual battle on our own strength. We struggle with temptation, anxiety, and fear as if God has left us to figure things out ourselves. The truth is exactly the opposite. The Holy Spirit has been given to dwell within us forever. When we remember who lives within us, our perspective on every trial begins to change.
